Anthony Charles Cazenove was the second son of Paul Cazenove and Jeanne Elizabeth Martin. He was born in Geneva, Switzerland in 1775. In 1790, he went to London to work in the counting of house of James Cazenove & Co. Anthony Charles and his brother, John Anthony (Jean-Antoine) emigrated to Philadelphia, Pa. in 1794 to escape repercussions of the French Revolution. James Madison (1751-1836) was the fourth president of the United States, born in Port Conway, Virginia.
